Fifty years from now, climate change is managed from orbit and XG racing, a zero-gravity reimagining of Formula 1 is the world’s greatest spectacle. For elite XG racers, death is reversible, but never without consequence. can upload their consciousness into cloned bodies, turning legends into immortals.

Jaxon has spent his life repairing the machines that fuel the sport he idolises. Until one unexpected moment reveals he's destined for the driver’s seat.
Champions are remembered.
Legends are immortal.

Partnership

Vega is an original story world imagined by Cascade and brought to life in collaboration with creative studio bully! entertainment, who created the trailer and movie poster. A team of six artists completed the project from initial concept to a finished cinematic trailer, in just three weeks using Cascade from start to finish. The production was designed to explore what happens when a professional storytelling team builds an ambitious world entirely within one AI-native production platform. Ultimately, the project delivers a compelling piece of world-building and acts as a proof of concept for how creative teams can enhance efficiency without losing creative control.
"Being able to complete the entire project inside a single browser-based platform fundamentally changed the way we worked. The biggest benefit wasn't simply speed, it was creative momentum. AI constantly opened up new possibilities, and those happy accidents often pushed the story in exciting new directions. And every meaningful creative decision remained in human hands."

Environments

Early environment development from within Cascade.

Jaxon

Jaxon is a young station mechanic, grease under his nails and his eyes always on the sky. He grew up watching the zero-gravity XG racers speed across the circuit, learning every legend's name, never once believing he could become one himself. Then one impossible moment put his hands on the controls of an XG racer, and instinct took over. He didn't know he had it in him. Jaxon is chasing the only thing that has ever mattered to him. In a world where he can crash, die, and come back, nobody's told him yet what he could lose in between.

Mira

Mira is one of the few people on DS11 who refuses to let station life define her. Sharp, resourceful, and endlessly curious, she works alongside Jaxon, but her ambitions reach further than maintenance schedules and cargo manifests. While Jaxon dreams of the XG Games, Mira dreams of finding out what she's capable of, and her quiet confidence has been steadying his self-doubt long before he believed in himself.

Their friendship is built on shared shifts and a mutual fascination with the racers above them. As Jaxon's life changes, Mira becomes both his greatest supporter and the person he risks leaving behind.

Malcolm

Malcolm belongs to the generation that built the future everyone else inherited, flying cargo through the engineering projects that saved Earth's climate long before the XG Games turned pilots into celebrities. His generation wasn't chasing fame. They were trying to save a planet. Now a veteran dockmaster on DS11, he's traded the cockpit for the station floor, but his instincts haven't dulled. He recognises something rare in Jaxon: not ambition, but instinct, and becomes the mentor who helps him believe he belongs in the sky.

"bully! Entertainment was the perfect partner to test Cascade's platform. Cascade enables filmmakers to scale productions and IP, achieving high production values while removing the friction that hinders original storytelling. Our collaboration on Vega proved that AI can be a powerful creative partner, facilitating the process without replacing the essential craft of human storytelling."
